Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated August 3, 2026
Cancel in one click from your dashboard, any time, with no phone call and no retention script. Here is precisely what happens to your money and your applications.
How to cancel
Sign in and open your dashboard, then choose Cancel plan. Cancellation is effective immediately as an instruction — you will not be billed again — and your access continues through the end of the period you already paid for. We email you a confirmation with the exact end date.
You can also email support@larkhire.com and we will process it for you.
What happens after you cancel
Nothing stops early. Your specialist keeps submitting your full weekly application volume right up to your end date, and your dashboard stays available so you can track replies and interviews from applications already sent. Resumes and cover letters we wrote for you are yours to keep.
Change your mind before the end date and you can resume the plan in one click with no gap in service.
Refunds
Because our work is performed by hand within days of payment, monthly subscriptions are generally not refunded for partial periods — you keep the service you paid for through the end of the period instead.
We do issue full or partial refunds in these cases:
- Within 7 days, before work starts — if you cancel within 7 days of your first payment and no applications have been submitted for you, we refund that payment in full.
- We fell short of your volume — if we deliver materially fewer applications than your plan's weekly target for reasons on our side, we credit or refund the shortfall pro rata.
- Duplicate or mistaken charges — refunded in full, promptly.
- Billed after cancelling — refunded in full.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Plan changes
Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated against your current period. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal so the higher weekly volume you already paid for is delivered in full. Neither is treated as a cancellation, and no refund is issued for a downgrade.
Failed payments
If a payment is declined, we email you and retry automatically over the following days. Your applications continue during that window. If payment is not recovered, the plan is paused rather than cancelled — update your card and we pick up where we left off.
Chargebacks
If something has gone wrong, email us first — we resolve almost everything within a day. Filing a chargeback before contacting us freezes the account while the bank investigates, which delays any resolution for you.
