Your resume and job search are sensitive. This page explains exactly what we collect, why we need it, who sees it, and how to get it deleted.

Information we collect

You give us: your name, email address, resume, work history, education, target roles, locations, salary expectations, work authorization status, and any links or notes you send your specialist. If you ask us to apply on sites requiring an account, we may hold the credentials needed to do so.

Payments: billing is handled by Stripe. We receive your plan, subscription status, billing period, and the last four digits and brand of your card. We never see or store your full card number.

Automatically: basic account and usage records — sign-in events, dashboard activity, and the applications submitted for you with their dates, employers, and statuses.

How we use it

  • To write and tailor your resume and application materials
  • To submit job applications on your behalf
  • To produce your weekly progress report and dashboard
  • To process payments, renewals, and billing notifications
  • To provide support and respond to your messages
  • To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your resume to train third-party AI models.

Who we share it with

Employers and job boards — the application materials and details you approved, submitted for the purpose of applying to roles you selected.

Service providers — Stripe (payments), our cloud hosting and database provider, and our transactional email provider. Each is bound by contract to process your data only for the services they provide to us.

Legal — where required by law, valid legal process, or to protect our rights and users' safety.

How long we keep it

Account and application records are kept while your account is active and for 12 months afterward, so you can return and pick up your history. Billing and tax records are kept for 7 years as required by law. Site credentials you provided are deleted within 30 days of cancellation. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is limited to the specialists working on your search and the staff who need it to support you, with individual accounts and role-based permissions. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat career data as confidential by default.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. Depending on where you live (including the EU/UK under GDPR and California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

Email privacy@larkhire.com and we will respond within 30 days. Deleting your data ends our ability to run your applications, so we will confirm before acting.

Email and cookies

Transactional emails — billing notices, sign-in confirmations, and weekly reports — are part of the service. Marketing emails, if we send any, always include a one-click unsubscribe. We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in and to run the site; we do not run third-party advertising trackers.

Children and international transfers

Larkhire is not for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. We operate from the United States; if you are elsewhere, your data is transferred and processed in the US under appropriate safeguards.
